7 My Personal Favorite Video Games Made By Rockstar Games

Rockstar games might be as good as it was used to be but they still make some of the greatest games. They were used to be my favorite because of how good and fun their game was back in the days. But I would say they still have the finest library of amazing games. And Today we are counting my Personal Favorites games made by Rockstar.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

The game’s targeting system has also been adjusted. Using triggers and both analog sticks (a la “Manhunt”), players take more complete control of C.J., and can have him run and strafe, change targets, and shoot in almost any direction, even while moving in another.– All Game Guide

This is arguably the most important videogame this year – yes, even more important than “Halo 2” – not only because it’s a superbly crafted videogame, but because it’s also a bona fide sociological artifact, one that manages to effectively evoke a specific time and place in American history—in this case, a hot and hazy California during the nascent days of hip-hop culture. – GameCritics
With its strong story, well-written dialogue, terrific voice cast, impressive graphics, great in-game sound, and extremely entertaining and varied gameplay, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a stupendous thrill ride that shouldn’t be missed. – GameSpot

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix

The big new addition is Tokyo. Fortunately, the developers have made the city available by default right on the menu screen, so for those of you worried that you might have to play through the original three cities to get to the new stuff, worry not. – 1UP
It all adds up to a breakneck racing experience that offers a lot of fun (especially when you consider the online modes) for a little cash. – Games Radar
An insanely fast, choatic and progressive racing game that betters the second in the series with more accessible racing, without losing its competitive edge. – IGN

Bully

Years from now, Bully will stand up on any ‘best of PS2 list’, Jimmy Hopkins will still reign as the coolest kid in school, and hopefully one day soon I will finally find all 76 hidden rubber bands. – G4 TV
Definitely deserving of every accolade it gets, but many of the complaints against its content seem absurd after playing it. There’s no graphic violence, and much of the fighting is done out of either self defense or in defense of someone weaker than their attacker. – Game Over Online
Sure, there’s some slowdown in places, and graphically everything looks as current-gen as it possibly could, but the gameplay mechanic and the sheer fun you’ll be having reliving your school days will make you completely oblivious to any of these problems. – RewiredMind

Red Dead Redemption

An unmissable game for any fan of the genre or great action adventures in general. We don’t often get masterpieces around here, but this is certainly one of those moments in time when gamers will look back more fondly on a dusty old six shooter than anything that involves jacking cars. – TheSixthAxis
Red Dead Redemption has a beautiful virtual world with an enormous amount of things to do, an exciting story and fantastic action. The game not only shows a world of the past, but also makes the player reflect the times we live in now. An exceptional achievement for a game. – Gamer.nl
Red Dead takes a familiar recipe, adds a skilful blend of western elements, and the result is something really rather special. Easily the best Wild West game to date. – RealGamer

L.A. Noire

This is vastly different from the countless first- and third-person shooters and all the “me too” open-world games sitting on store shelves. All the things I’ve only read about in Dashiell Hammett novels, or seen in film classics like Double Indemnity, have all come to interactive life in L.A. Noire. – 1UP
The content isn’t much more graphic than your average TV cop drama (apart from the occasional nudity), but it’s heavy subject matter for a game, and Noire plays it surprisingly straight, with very little of the wry humor that characterizes most Rockstar releases. – GamesRadar+
L.A. Noire’s intriguing character profile, deep interrogation and investigation system, and impeccably detailed facial technology puts this detective thriller in a class of its own.– Playstation Universe

Max Payne 3

Despite the new setting Max Payne 3 captures the cynical dark atmosphere of the series perfectly. New gameplay elements like the cover-system are implemented very good, but the lack of innovation makes the action a bit tedious towards the end. Nonetheless Rockstar delivers a good game and even more important: it deserves the name Max Payne. – PC Games
With Max Payne 3, Rockstar Games proves that the studio masters the action-type game in the most brilliant way, despite Max Payne 3 not being an open-world title. If there were no doubts about narration, the gameplay system also remains very atttractive thanks to the perfect introduction of the bullet time and the Shootdodge abilities, two strong aspects players are already familiar with. Rockstar Games offers a great experience, full of details, and depicts an amazing trip through Brazil and its favelas. A masterpiece at which Rockstar Games excels, introducing a tortured character whose adventures will surely give you the chills! – JeuxActu

Grand Theft Auto V

If you hadn’t had a chance to play it yet at all though, and your computer can handle it, the PC version does definitely feel like the definitive version. – DarkStation
Ultimately you will get everything you expected from GTA 5 for PC; a tremendous game with many months of playability and the potential to only get better. – Impulsegamer
Sure, the Rockstar Social Club is an annoying hoop to jump through, and hardware fragmentation poses problems for some. But for those with the hardware to run it, GTA V serves as a testament to the PC platform’s superiority, and a reminder that good things come to those that wait. – AusGamers
