Best Unknown Multi-Perspective Video Games That Makes You Think Twice

In the very beginning video games used to be very linear and the objective format was “Defeat this enemy kill these boss rescue __ and boom you win” But now in 2017 things have changed a lot and some game developers took another route into storytelling and that point was the introduction of Multiple choices that affect the story and this is one of the best mechanics ever implemented. Today we are gonna countdown some unknown multi-perspective game and 1 game that everybody knows and loves!

80 Days (iOS)

80 Days is a great exhibition in game making that is an absolute must have title that provides a thoroughly engaging adventure numerous times over. – Apple’N’Apps
A fantastic and fascinating re-envisioning of the classic novel by Jules Verne, 80 Days is a delightful piece of interactive fiction. – 148Apps
But the real treasure here is the story, which is written beautifully and flows smoothly, even as players alter its direction by making narrative choices every few sentences. If nothing else, 80 Days makes a strong argument for interactive storytelling. – Post Arcade (National Post)

Analogue: A Hate Story

It’s no secret that I thoroughly enjoyed Analogue: A Hate Story. The writing is stellar, the music and graphics are stylish, and the interactive gameplay elements are immersive. I also appreciate its unapologetic attitude toward mass appeal, instead opting to please a very specific kind of gamer. Those who want to see a fine example of elevated video game storytelling would do best to check this game out. It may not be a long ride (5-7 hours for a single playthrough), but it is a satisfying one. – RPG Fan
Beneath the endless text, Analogue is smart, focused, and refreshingly unpleasant stuff with a style all of its own. [Apr 2012, p.112] – PC Gamer UK
It’s a game that doesn’t have the luxury of distracting you with clever mechanics and satisfying challenges to excuse its lack of narrative. It’s just you and the story and how exactly you digest it. If you’re interested in dystopian sci-fi and intriguing mysteries and like getting angry about patriarchal misogyny, then it’s certainly something you could enjoy. – Eurogamer

Hatoful Boyfriend

The true BBL story is gripping and an absolute must-play for anyone with an open mind who is a fan of visual novels. The game doesn’t make things obvious, though. I had no idea this route existed until I actually put in the effort to do more endings, and I’d recommend you do the same. If nothing else, it’s nice to see Devolver and Mediatonic bringing something so new and unusual to Steam. – God is a Geek
Though it has some pacing issues and a seemingly useless upgrade system, the funny, meaningful stories had me reading right past them. – IGN
I came for the promise of pigeon romance, but I stayed for the surreal world these fowl reside in. – PCGamesN

Depression Quest

While it does an okay job presenting what it is really like to have depression, it sets the player down the exactly same depression path, no matter what is chosen. – ActionTrip
Fantastic game–as someone who has dealt with depression, I greatly appreciate the role this game serves in helping sufferers cope and raising public awareness. – CasildaK
I absolutely love this game. It is amazing, and Zoe Quinn is the best game developer ever. Words cannot describe this masterpiece. Feminists unite! Let us wash this earth of that scum we call “man”. – NintendoNerd256

The Walking Dead represents a jewel in the realm of episodic adventures. This game will shock you. It’ll make you cry and curse. One of the most memorable gaming experience we’ve had in a long time. Don’t miss out on it. – ActionTrip
Overall this game was a unique experience that is not your everyday type of game, but is worth playing and I would suggest this game to almost anyone. It is a game that simply tells a beautiful and tragic story. It sucks you in emotionally and does not let go. –  GamingTrend
The Walking Dead series offers one of the most intense game story of recent years that is not hardcore on its gamers from the adventure point of view. So relax, seat yourselves and let the zombie-apocalyptic world suck you in. – Games.cz
