How Sony Is Going To Dominate The Console War With PlayStation 5 In 2019
PS4 Pro launched last year have already proven that Sony knows what they are doing when it comes to planning the launch of their hardware. Micheal Patcher Told GamingBolt that PS5 Will Come in 2019 and it will be another “Half-Step” in console generations.
Micheal Patcher for those of you don’t know is a video game, social media, digital media and electronics analyst with Wedbush Securities. Most of his speculations and rumors have always been on point. He also predicted the launch of PS4 Pro.
“The PS4 Pro is better [from a technical perspective] than the PS4, so I think that’s a half step towards the PS5,” he said. “I think the PS5 will be another half-step.”
My expectation that is that it’s not coming out in 2018. That [it will be] 2019 or 2020 but probably 2019. Sony is probably timing it better because they are going to bring out a 4K-capable device when the 4K TV market reaches 50% in the USA and 35% in the rest of the world
I think Sony has probably got the next console cycle nailed down already. I think they already know what they got to do
Backward compatibility in Xbox One is extremely successful with bringing massive Hits like GTA 4, Black OPS 2 and more. Sony fans are still waiting for a true backward compatible console and according to Micheal Patcher PS5 will be fully backward compatible with PS4 Games.
We really do hope to see PS5 In 2019 with full backward compatibility and amazing launch exclusives titles.
With the launch of Nintendo Switch gamers are looking forward to more innovative way to play games rather than just playing it on the most powerful console. The Switch has really ignited the gaming console market with its unique concept and I personally want Sony to come with their Nintendo Switch competitor.
