Sea of Thieves

An upcoming action-adventure game developed by Rare, Sea of Thieves is expected to release sometime this year. According to Microsoft, the game will offer elements of a first-person perspective as well as user-generated content.


Additionally, players will have an open world to explore and will allow you to do pirate-like activities such as hunting for treasure, voyaging in your ship, and the ability to become infected with Scurvy. With musket loaded and grog in hand, the freedom of the pirate life awaits. What will your legend be?

ToeJam and Earl: Back in the Groove

One of the iconic duos of the 1990s, the alien duo, ToeJam & Earl are back. In Back in the Groove is currently anticipated to release in 2017 and is developed by HumaNature Studios and published by Adult Swim Games. This time it was actually funded on KickStarter.


Similar to its predecessors, Back in the Groove will offer an isometric point of view and will feature simplistic exploration gameplay elements. The game will offer nine playable characters, dynamic split-screen action perfect for cooperative play and not to mention plenty of secret locations for you to explore. We’re goin’ indie, and old skool like GAME ONE, with a fun retro-comics style, and plenty of funk


If you enjoy run and gun shooters, with a 1930s cartoon aesthetics, you’ll enjoy CupHead. Developed by Studio MDHR, CupHead features the titular character having to repay a debt he has garnered as a result of losing a bet with the devil.


Based around fast-paced gameplay with continuous boss battles, players will have infinite lives, maintain any weapons obtained from deaths and will offer two-player co-op. The game will be available on PC and Xbox One and is scheduled to launch sometime in mid-2017.

Prey for the Gods

An action-survival game developed and published by No Matter Studios, Prey for the Gods will have players starting off on a frozen island with nothing in their possession. Players will then have to scavenge for supplies, survive the tundra while fighting grotesque adversaries that stand in your way. Prey for the Gods was another one backed on Kickstarter.

Currently, the game does not have a release date, however, the game is expected to release on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Prey For The Gods is an action survival game set on a desolate frozen island. To survive you must destroy the very gods you believe in.
